Get a group of professional photographers together in a room and you're likely to get a raging debate about the pros and cons of digital vs. film. Matt started experimenting with digital photography in 1999, when he bought a 2.1 megapixel camera for $1000. By 2001 the studio was shooting only digital.

Digital provides us with control of the product from start to finish, and that has been the biggest benefit. We're pretty picky about the quality of work we turn out, and we got tired of making excuses for other people's work when it came to developing and printing our photographs. The lower cost and quicker turn around times of shooting digital are two other benefits that can't be ignored.

On the creative end, working with digital files vs. film means we can retouch the image easier, whether it's adding a logo, or removing a blemish. Above are some examples from our digital darkroom.
