Every year at Christmas, the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose puts on a room decorating contest for non-profit organizations. For the last six years, the Victorian Preservation Association has won their category, each year coming up with interesting themes relevant to the room that was chosen for them. This year we ended up decorating the kitchen, and the theme was that the butler had just returned from cutting the Christmas tree, and was now warming himself by the stove.
