Freddie, The Fabulous Flying Feline

Picture of the Month - March 2000

This shot was taken for a black and white photography class. While I was developing it, the instructor happened to walk by and burst out laughing. It has had that response from most viewers. The shot was made by having my wife drop our cats one by one in front of a white screen. (They had a soft landing on some pillows.) The best picture was this one of Fred, our oldest cat.

Update: In November of 2001, after being with us for 16 years, we had to make the tough decision to put Freddie to sleep. I put together this tribute for Freddie.
