Victorian Marriage Proposal

I met this couple while participating as an extra in an A&E production, "Love in the Victorian Age". This photo was part of a series that I did for a black and white photography class I was taking. Here, the proposal is being made. The setting was a friend's house in San Jose that is decorated in a very authentic Victorian manner. Combined with the authentic costumes, the photograph has an very vintage look to it.
