This pumpkin is from the last batch that will be grown in this field, because the land just got sold to house another high tech campus. Personally, I found this very sad, as there is so little agriculture left in Santa Clara Valley, which before the Silicon Valley moniker was attached to it, was known as the Garden Valley.
