Kaline - Lady of the Lake

Photographing outdoors in Humboldt County is always a challenging task due to the unpredictable weather. After a recent long string of absolutely gorgeous autumn weather, I thought it would be great to schedule an outdoor shoot with Kaline, who I had worked with a couple of months before. The day started out sunny but by the time we arrived at our chosen location the fog had rolled in, so we rolled with it. Kaline practiced her ballet moves in a fog enshrouded lagoon, and the series had a very ethereal feel to it.
