December was a soggy month for Ferndale, where we received over 25 inches of rain, and most of that fell in the two weeks before Christmas. I was hoping to get pictures of the Christmas tree and the Lighted Tractor parade, but that event was held in a torrential downpour, worse than last year's. So it had been rain, rain, rain, when one day it finally stopped long enough to take the camera out. I was driving over Grizzly Bluff on my way to the cemetery when I saw this view.
