Barn Burn

Picture of the Month - May 2007

This photo was taken with my Pentax Optio W10 and demonstrates one of the reasons I purchased that camera, it's waterproof. The night the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Department was doing this training burn, it was raining, plus we pumped thousands of gallons of water, as you can see by the lake in front of Engine 3. Good time to use the cheap waterproof camera rather than the expensive gear. Not a bad photo given that it was taken at dusk and was handheld.
