Humboldt County in Northern California offers many scenic and remote areas that are ideal for photographing automobiles and other vehicles. In fact many of the car commercials that you see on TV have been filmed along the Lost Coast or in the surrounding hills and redwood forests.

This photograph was taken for the owner of this very nice Porsche 911 Carrera after he decided to sell it. A local restaurant that was opening soon had this interesting patio, and we got permission to park the car on it before they installed the outdoor tables. The restaurant also had a very cool wrap-around neon stripe that you can see reflected in another picture of the car, which was our November 2000 Picture of the Month.
