Avenue of the Giants

Humboldt County, CA

This Quicktime VR panorama provides a 360 degree view of one section of the Avenue of the Giants, a scenic highway that parallels Highway 101 in southern Humboldt County. In addition to being one of Northern California's most scenic highways, it is also one of my favorite motorcycle roads. This road gives you a very up close and personal view of the giant redwood trees that this area is famous for.

To pan the image left or right, click and drag your mouse in the image in the direction you wish to view. To zoom in press the Shift Key, and to zoom out, press the Control key.

To view Quicktime VR movies you need a compatible browser, such as Netscape 3.0 or Microsoft Explorer 3.0 or later and the QuickTime Plug In and QuickTime VR Components.
