Once again Covid-19 meant that the Ferndale Dance Academy Nutcracker was performed outdoors and taped so that it could be shown as a movie. It wasn’t as cold as it was during last year’s performance, but I still felt for the dancers who had to brave the cold.

There were lots of great photos to pick from, but anyone who can bend like this has my admiration. 12 year old Danica Kinsley doesn’t seem to have a spine, like a lot of politicians these days. But for a dancer, that’s a great attribute. My 62 year old back was screaming for ibuprofen just from watching her.
